Healing the Habits of the Mind

I think you will find this work by Kathryn Kelley to be refreshing and unique in its ability to REALLY help individuals overcome issues which have plagued them for perhaps years.

Breaking the personal cycle of despair so that an individual can best achieve the ability to choose her/her sense of well-being in any environment is the underlying goal of this work. Because so many people suffer from malaise brought about by fear, loneliness and a sense of isolation, she has developed these first three CD’s in this offering: Healing the Habits of the Mind:

“Overcoming Anxiety, Living a Living a Life of Freedom and Purpose”
“Enhancing your Self-Esteem; Learning to Appreciate your own Gifts and Talents”
“Healing your Relationship with Food”

Each is unique in that each focuses on the causes and mechanisms for relief for that particular difficulty. They are NOT simple affirmations or overused quick remedies which might work for a while but leave the individual frustrated and still suffering in the long run.

They ARE deeply relaxing, bi-lateral re-processing of upsetting or irrational belief systems. These difficult belief systems and the feelings that accompany them can then be supplanted with life-giving beliefs and feelings which make the transition to healthier choices less stressful for a great many individuals. Kathryn Kelley uses EMDR techniques (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), movement of emotions through the chakra energy system of the body and deep relaxation/breathing to realize these benefits. We believe when individuals achieve higher levels of consciousness, the culture, society and community are made better as a result.

Also what is most intriguing and fun is how she in incorporating this bi-lateral healing with an exercise called NIA. It is a combination of yoga, dance, and tai chi. The combination of using the CD's and along with exercise is truly WHOLElistic.
